Renewable Energy Division

In 2010, HardHat established a separate division with an experienced team dedicated exclusively to the renewable energy industry. We understand the challenges this fast-paced environment requires and the importance of having a trained, reliable, and mobile workforce.

We have the expertise to assist our clients through every step of the complex process of solar energy installation, from the grading process to producing energy. Since the division’s founding, we have partnered with our clients to install more than 2.5 gigawatts of power. We completed over 500 megawatts in 2017 and 2018 looks to be an exciting year as well with projects scheduled on the East Coast as well as in Texas, Colorado, Ohio and throughout the MidWest.

HardHat can provide customized solutions for everything from rooftop units to large-scale utility projects. We have completed utility scale projects in North Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Virginia, Massachusetts, Texas, Alabama, Maryland and Minnesota. Our team is positioned to assist wherever your projects may be.

For the past eight years, HardHat has been building a database of several thousand employees to meet the needs of our clients on a national level. Unlike many of our competitors, we hire every employee face-to-face: a practice we call the “Eye Test.” HardHat’s recruiting process is among the most stringent in the industry; we conduct drug tests and background checks on all applicants and ensure they are fit for duty before stepping foot on our clients’ project.

We appreciate the opportunity to serve you and demonstrate our commitment to service excellence. We feel confident you will find HardHat to be a refreshing workforce management option and our team to be the finest in the industry.
